The GMB Banbury Branch members were very happy and proud to have been able to provide support to 2 worthwhile local community Charities in 2022.
Sue Blank Community Engagement Officer for Katharine House Hospice said” I wanted to say a big thank you to all the members of GMB Union – Banbury Branch for their overwhelming support in 2022😊. You really did go the extra mile in everything you did and to raise £11,368.75 in a year is just incredible, thank you so much. Those donations will make a huge difference to so many people in our community who need our care and support.”
After receiving a donation of £800 Sarah Williams Banbury Food Bank manager said “Your donation and support make a big difference to local people. Foodbank use has continued to increase since the pandemic and with the current cost of living crisis. Your generosity means that we can keep up with the demand and support clients needing help. We are very grateful for your support for the Banbury Foodbank.”
